[BIBLIA] - Prologus in bibliam. Incipit epistola sancti Hieronymi ad Paulinum presbyterum. Venice: Franciscus Renner, de Heilbronn, 1483. A copy unfortunately lacking the index, but rubricated and annotated of this Bible printed in Venice by Renner in 1483. Present in libraries, but rare to find on the market: in fact only a few copies are registered at auction on RBH. 4to (195 x 147mm). Rubricated in red with some large decorated initials (without the final index with signature S-X¹², the rest as in the digitized copy of the Vatican Library, title starting to become loose but still holding, with tear at bottom margin without loss, top margin occasionally cropped, s1 with clean tear, L12 with small tear at bottom corner with small loss, light staining). 18th-century calf, gilt spine, red speckled edges (some wear).
