FARFA (pseud. di Tommasini, Vittorio Osvaldo) (1879-1964) - Raccolta di 16 lettere e composizioni autografe con una copia annotata di "Ovabere, sincopatie futuriste". Genoa: Guttade Guttis, 1935. An interesting group of letters and compositions sent between June 1962 and April 1964 to Paolo Marinotti a few months before his death; important collector, general secretary of the International Center of Arts and Costume in Venice and curator of a series of international art exhibitions at Palazzo Grassi. The subject of the correspondence is a possible collaboration between the two (which will end with the publication of "Ansianismo") which is introduced by Farfa in the first letter, dated June 20, 1962, stating that he sent the copy of "Ovabere" to submit to Marinotti his work which had already been published and, at the same time, to express the desire to publish 12 "ultra-abstract" lyrics still unpublished. In subsequent letters Tommasini, in communicating with the curator, werite with all his rich prosaic and poetic repertoire with a futurist echo that makes this short of correspondence a fine example n of the poet's style. In the final letter, stamped on April 24, 1964, Farfa poetically thanks Marinotti for having edited and printed "Anxiety: Farfa's texts and engravings. Introd. By Paolo Marinotti" published in March of the same year, the last work of the poet who died in a car accident in August. . 8vo (165 x 120mm). 32 pp., author's annotations in ink. Editorial printed cloth. [WITH:] 16 letters and pen compositions on paper of various types, some within envelopes with stamps (occasional light wear).
