A good copy of this work with large engraved plates of which only one other copy is recorded as having sold at auction (RBH). Folio (360 x 248mm). Engraved portrait by G. Benedetti, engraved vignette on title, 3 large folding engraved plates after F. Grassi and by G. Patrini and G. Benedetti, engraved heapieces and initials (final plate with some mold stains, some light spotting). Paper boards covered with marbled paper, speckled edges. SBN is probably mistaken in recording 4 plates as the only copy registered as sold at auction (Christie's, 1999) also had 3 folding plates.
