Every single increment was as brilliant as a diamond" with this joke Luca Ghirondi, specialist of the Jewellery department comments the auction held on November 16 and 17, pleased with the approval received by the buyers for the vast selection of lots offered: two days dedicated to the sales and 4 sessions.

This auction shows its high level and quality and was characterized by an audience of national and international competitors who were able to appreciate the variety and selection of the objects proposed as can be confirmed by the results with  85% of the lots awarded.

Top lots of the auction: a yellow gold ring with a rectangular diamond weighing ct. 5.25  signed BVLGARI , knocked down at € 102.500,00 (including Buyer's premium).

A natural pearl necklace, work of the refined skill of a  goldsmith  of the nineteenth century executed for a princely family, knocked down at € 90,000.00.

Despite the decline in the diamond market, 30 pieces of various carats and cuts were offered for sale and they all  exceeded the valuation price.

The timeless emeralds, refined as ever,  follow suit: the pendant platinum  earrings with pear-shaped emeralds signed PIRANESI New York, were knocked down at € 18,750.00 while the white gold hexagonal pendant with a large emerald cabochon,  weighing about ct. 80, and diamonds surround signed DAVID WEBB was awarded at € 16.350,00.

Considering the quantity and value of the lots offered, the department is greatly satisfied. The percentage of sales on the total value is of 108% and the turnover amounts to € 1,786,362.00 (including taxes) which added to the auction turnover in the previous semester represents an excellent goal for the department and drives it towards further ambitious results.
